Turn Ideas Into Real-World Designs
In this hands-on course, students use CAD software (TinkerCAD) and 3D printers to create projects ranging from fun mini-figures and keychains to practical items like phone stands and organizers. Each build strengthens math, spatial reasoning, and engineering thinking while teaching how school concepts translate into the real world.
What to Expect During Class
In every class, students dive into hands-on 3D design and printing, guided by instructors who support creativity, problem-solving, and skill growth.
1
CAD & 3D Design – Learn to create digital models using TinkerCAD
2
Hands-On Building – Bring designs to life with 3D printers
3
Creative Challenges – Apply math, logic, and problem-solving to fun design projects
4
Collaboration & Feedback – Work with classmates, share ideas, and improve designs together
5
Project Showcase – Complete projects to take home and proudly display
How 3D Printing Builds Math & Future-Ready Skills
Students see that math isn’t abstract — it’s the foundation they use to design, build, and innovate in every project. 3D printing turns concepts into hands-on learning that builds confidence and prepares kids for tomorrow’s STEM opportunities.
Builds real math fluency
Geometry, spatial reasoning, ratios, scaling, measurement, precision, and logical thinking become practical tools for creating something tangible.
Strengthens future-ready mindsets
Students naturally practice engineering habits, problem-solving, iteration, and creative resilience as they refine their designs.
Grows collaboration + tech skills
Projects build communication, planning, sequencing, and comfort with CAD and emerging technologies.

FAQs
Find answers to common questions about our courses, how to sign up, and more.
How do I know if this course is right for my child?
We recommend that students join the Math Plus enrichment class corresponding to the math class they are taking in school. If you feel like your child is struggling or needs significantly more challenge, please send us a message. We’d love to help you find the best course for your child.
What are the qualifications of your teachers?
All of our teachers have a passion for teacher math and are certified to teach in the state in which they live.
What teaching methods are used?
We have developed a powerful curriculum for teaching mathematics over the last 15 years. Each lessons features puzzles and challenging problems tasks to get students engaged and thinking about math. Our goal is to help students develop mental math and problem-solving skills they can use for a lifetime.
Will my student get personalized attention?
Yes! Each class has a maximum of 8 students. Our teachers do a great job of including all students in the math discourse during class. There is also an assistant teacher in each class who can assist your child. In addition, a weekly 30-minute one-on-one sessions is included with the classes.
Is there homework?
We provide problems for students to solve at home after each class. The goal is for them to check their understanding and to develop strategies to solve challenging problems. We do not provide excessive amounts of rote practice because it teaches kids there is nothing more to math than memorization.
When can my child join the classes?
Students can join at any time! We welcome new students into our courses all the time. After you enroll, you and your child will have an orientation where we will ensure they are ready for their first class.
Can I change classes after enrollment?
Yes. If we discover that your child is in a class that is not the appropriate challenge for them, we can move them to another course. If your child’s schedule changes, you may move to another open class time.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. You may subscribe to the monthly or quarterly plans. You may cancel at the end of your payment term with 30 days’ notice.
